- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology to perform MR exams on patients of all ages.
- Skilled in the safe operation of highly complex magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment and automated contrast agent pressure injectors (power injector) to perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and Magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) examinations per request.
- Performs quality control for MRI equipment, power injector, crash cart and blanket warmer devices.
- Retrieves images needed from the Picture archiving and Communication System (PACS) and Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist I:An additional one (1) year of experience is required.
