- The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) functions under the general supervision of a physician, RN or appropriate health care professional in providing nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process.
- The LPN practices within the guidelines of the Nurse Practice Act and the Standards, Policies and Procedures of Carney Hospital.
