- To supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guide lines and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services or Nurse Supervisor to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times Qualifications:Must have a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN in New York State.
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guide lines that pertain to long term care.
- Monitor nursing personnel to ensure safety standards, and infection control policies and procedures are followed.
- Physical and Sensory Requirements: Able to communicate with residents and personnel.
- Charge Nurse Responsibilities Manage the care of residents on the unit.
