- In summary, we will expect you to work hard, to help fellow teammates, to service the guest and to have fun.
- The Loader Operator operates heavy equipment such as a John Deere 930 Front End Loader with a twelve-foot push box used to clear parking lots, roadways, and related areas after a snowfall, ice event, or other weather requiring snow removal to ensure safe driving, parking, and walking.
- Primarily operates front end loader while also being available to operate snowplow pickup truck, sanding/salting truck, and other equipment such as skid steer and ToolCat to remove ice and snow from roads, parking lots, walkways, and assigned areas, which require early morning starts, extended hours, and weekend duty including holidays.
- Performs routine equipment maintenance/repair tasks such as checking and changing vehicle fluids, fueling, greasing, etc.
- During spring, summer and fall the Loader Operator will have responsibility to work with the general road crew and other crews involved in earthwork, maintenance and construction of facilities, and storm water management.
