- The Litigation and Servicing Paralegal is responsible for case management of loan files related to servicing litigation, including routine and contested foreclosure matters, bankruptcy filings, title matters, and mediation.
- As the Litigation Specialist, you will maintain a case for each matter, complete initial intake, document status of the litigated issue, assess risk, work closely with inside and outside counsel in an attempt to resolve each matter, and organize supplementing data and information to support servicing litigation.
- Analyzing mortgage servicing documentation for potential legal issues, with a focus on title, AOM, foreclosure, and bankruptcy processes, and reporting identified issues, including root cause and resolution suggestions, to Legal/Compliance and the business
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine the appropriate escalation of matters to the corporate litigation team, fraud prevention units, or other pertinent departments
