- The Specialty Medicine LPN performs non-standard and specialized nursing activities within a variety of specialty areas including, but not limited to Oncology, Metabolic, Allergy/Immunotherapy, Infectious Disease, Rheumatology, Renal, Cardiology/CHF.
- Performs, reports, records assigned nursing care in the Ambulatory Care Clinics, including, but not limited to: Oxygen therapy, immunization and medication administration, finger stick blood glucose test, and completes additional competency training to include but not limited to downloading glucose meter or Insulin Pump, Continuous Glucose Monitor insertion, Zio Patch, EKG, and PVR bladder scan.
- Parental Leave: After 12 months of employment, up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave in connection with the birth, adoption, or foster care placement of a child.
- Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
- Licensure: Full, active, current, and unrestricted licensure as a licensed practical or vocational nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or District of Columbia.
