- Primary responsibilities of the position include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in connection with the Library Media program and the UW System School Library Education Cooperative (UWSSLEC).
- The successful candidate will be expected to advise students in UWSSLEC and library science and school library minors.
- QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications: Masters Degree in library education, library science, or other related field Experience as a licensed K-12 librarian Expertise in educational technology Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching, supervising, and/or advising in higher education Experience teaching about and incorporating strategies to create inclusive libraries.
- Instructors at UW-W may be required to teach in a variety of formats, including in-person, online, and/or in a hybrid format, or courses in the evenings or on weekends.
- Our department offers courses for all undergraduate students in the College of Education and Professional Studies to build the core foundations of educational psychology, learner development, technology and assessment integration, history and philosophy of education, and equity and diversity in education.
