- The OR Tech II has an understanding of the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon as well as has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred
- In addition to meeting the requirements of an OR Tech I position, must also be competent to perform as first scrub in three of the four following specialty areas: Robotic, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine and Vascular Surgery
