- This position will lead the Leukemia/Lymphoma program and focus on clinical and translational research including (but not limited to) developmental therapeutics, clinical trials, adolescent and young adult cancer, and survivorship, with appropriate protected time and support.
- The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with other investigators in the NCI-designated UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center, UC Davis School of Public Health, UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine (Veterinary Cancer Center), Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories, Center for Biophotonics Science and Technology, and the Institute for Regenerative Cures.
- Services for patients with hemophilia, sickle cell disease, and other hemoglobinopathies are provided in a regional treatment center.
- The institution also receives support for a 340b Hemophilia Treatment Program.
- As part of a major UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center expansion, a new Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic and Infusion Center was opened in 2012.
