- Candidates with teaching and research experience in astronomy are particularly encouraged to apply.
- A Ph. D. in physics or astronomy is required, and postdoctoral research experience is preferred.
- Previous experience teaching undergraduate astronomy or physics classes and, in particular, introductory calculus- or algebra-based physics classes, is also strongly desired.
