- Position Summary Monmouth University is seeking applications for a Lecturer in Chemistry.
- The candidate would be expected to: teach 12 credits of undergraduate chemistry lecture and laboratory courses per semester, mainly in the areas of General Chemistry and in one of the 5 major areas of chemistry (Analytical, Biochemistry, Organic, Inorganic and Physical Chemistry); contribute to department and University service and to demonstrate currency in their discipline, which may be done by a variety of possible activities.
- The Department of Chemistry and Physics, which offers an ACS-certified degree in chemistry, includes 15 full-time faculty and two and a half support staff and serves approximately 500 undergraduate seeking degrees in chemistry, biology, and medical laboratory science.
