- LOCATION: 825 L StreetThe Municipality of Anchorage (MOA) is required to submit three plans each year to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to ensure continued funding through three complex federal housing and development programs: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG).
- This position will lead to all aspects of the writing, reviewing, and timely submission of the three plans that must be approved by the Division Director, Mayor, Anchorage Assembly, and HUD's Anchorage Field Office.
- Environmental Assessment and Davis Bacon Labor Standards.
- Associate's degree in Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, Statistics, or a related discipline and four (4) years of urban planning experience with the Municipality or the equivalent elsewhere.
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, Statistics, or a related discipline and two (2) years of urban planning experience with the Municipality or the equivalent elsewhere.
