- Must be able to obtain and maintain FLETC Law Enforcement Instructor certification within 12 months of employment.
- You must possess a certificate from one of the following training programs: U.S. Military Explosives Ordnance Disposal (EOD), Hazardous Devices School (FBI HDS), or ATF Certified Explosives Specialist (CES).
- Possess experience as a sworn law enforcement officer or agent with full arrest authority in the prevention, detection, apprehension, detention and/or investigation of felony and/or misdemeanor violations of federal, state, local, tribal, or military criminal laws;
- Performing a variety of law enforcement actions with field experience in at least four of the following law enforcement topical areas to include: advanced interviewing; cross cultural communications; conflict/stress management; threat response and incident management; intelligence collection; and/or investigative techniques.
- Developing and instructing law enforcement training curriculum in at least four of the following law enforcement topical areas to include: advanced interviewing; cross cultural communications; conflict/stress management; threat response and incident management; intelligence collection; and/or investigative techniques.
