- Seeking an experienced LAN Network Engineer to support the NASA Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Network and Telecommunications Services (NaTS) under the Advanced Enterprise Global Information Technology (IT) Solutions (AEGIS) contract.
- This job requires working closely with key NASA program customers, managers, leaders, and technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on implementing Cisco's Software Defined Access (SDA) architecture across NASA's corporate network agency-wide.
- Solid understanding of the Cisco SDA architecture to include familiarity with fabric components, node roles, overlay technologies like VXLAN and EVPN, and integration with wireless networks.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst switches, configuring and managing Cisco Catalyst switches, especially those supporting SDA is highly beneficial.
- Understanding of Cisco automation tools such as Cisco DNA Center and Catalyst.
