- The Rincón-Cortés Lab in the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences is seeking an engaged and enthusiastic individual as a Research Laboratory Technician.
- assisting with animal husbandry procedures and colony management, as well as conducting laboratory research using behavioral methods and neuroscience techniques including but not limited to immunohistochemistry, electrophysiology, chemogenetics, and optical imaging.
- Contribute to animal husbandry procedures.
- Learn and execute stereotaxic surgeries, viral infusions and in vivo optical recording techniques.
- Implement molecular biology techniques to study changes in gene and/or protein expression in neural samples.
