- This role is an excellent opportunity to learn several valuable, cutting-edge techniques in molecular biology, virology, CRISPR gene-editing as well as proteomics while working with a dynamic and interdisciplinary research team.
- The candidate will also have the opportunity to develop and implement new protocols for gene-editing and mass spectrometry-based proteomics experiments.
- Working as part of the infectious biology group in the Krogan lab, you will express affinity-tagged proteins of interest, perform affinity purifications, and proximity labeling of proteins and their interactors for mass spectrometry analysis to study protein-protein interactions.
- Additional major responsibilities will include the preparation, sequencing, and analysis of next-generation sequencing libraries to support CRISPR screening experiments.
