- Performs clerical and customer service functions associated with daily court operations and/or legal office operations, including data entry, records management, document preparation, processing incoming and outgoing mail, scheduling for court, and providing excellent customer service.
- Customer service entails in person, telephone and electronic contact with customers, acceptance and processing of filings and payments, providing correct and concise information and treating all customers with dignity and respect.
- This position serves at the pleasure of an elected / appointed official.
- All applicants tentatively selected for a position with Beaufort County Council will be required to submit to urinalysis to screen for the illegal use of drugs and to a background check prior to appointment.
- Employment is contingent upon clearing both the drug screening and background investigation.
