- IND US provides industrial support services across the Undersea Weapons Department (Code 30), Test and Evaluation Department (Code 20), Undersea Systems & Sustainment Department (Code 40) and Unmanned and Theater Undersea Warfare Systems Department (Code 50), of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division, Keyport (NUWCDIVKPT).
- Reporting to the Program Manager, the Jr. Logistician will be responsible for packing and wrapping inbound/outbound assets and updating logistics databases with current information on the NUWCDIVKPT Industrial Support Services (ISS) contract.
- This position works a specific shift: Daytime shift (schedule TBD pending government direction); possible swing shift may be required to meet emergent needs (swing shift differential provided).
- Must be able to follow and complete on-the-job training as required: INDOC Training: Positions in the Torpedo Intermediate Maintenance Activity (IMA) and Torpedo Depot require up front 2-week education and familiarization courses with a follow-on test for comprehension.
- QUALS Training : All positions carry some additional qualifications training against the skillsets of an Logistician Technician.
