- A week in the life of a Journeyman Marine Auxiliary Engineer: Assist in design, development, and evaluation of the operation of Auxiliary marine systems, ship machinery, and related equipment, such as HM&E, HVAC&R, piping systems, etc Support the US Coast Guard reviewing third party design modifications and improvements to mechanical systems and components.
- Perform design reviews, evaluating constructability, helping resolve technical issues, and managing information generated through the design and construction phases.
- Conduct marine engineering analysis.
