About the RoleThe IT Supply Chain Project Manager is a part of the IT Project Management Office (PMO), responsible for effectively managing assigned supply chain-focused IT projects for a large retail company. This role is highly cross-functional and is required to partner with various departments and third-party vendors. Responsibilities include managing and leading all project activities between cross-functional IT teams, business departments, and vendors in support of achieving the company’s operations-driven goals. You’ll Make a Difference By<ul><li>Managing multiple complex cross-functional projects simultaneously that may span multiple departments in a hybrid project methodology environment.</li><li>Succeeding in delivery includes full implementation through initiation, requirements gathering, design, testing (TUT, QA, SIT, UAT), training, deployment, and adoption.</li><li>Understanding the interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.</li><li>Taking time to understand and learn business processes, reach out to experts, ask the right questions, and prioritize and perform necessary follow-ups to resolve issues.</li><li>Adhering to defined IT PMO processes, completing necessary project documentation & tasks, and obtaining necessary approvals.</li><li>Creating, executing, and managing comprehensive project plans to include scope, schedule, budget, and people resources.</li><li>Managing change requests, risks, and issues, escalating as needed.</li><li>Providing status reports regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across all levels of the organization.</li><li>Acting as a servant leader, clearing obstacles, and ensuring team members have what they need to complete assigned tasks.</li></ul> About You<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree focused on Business, IT, or other relevant fields.</li><li>6+ years of project management experience leading IT-focused cross-functional initiatives.</li><li>3+ years of experience in managing supply chain-focused IT projects.</li><li>Experience leading and implementing enhancement projects related to WMS and/or ERP systems (e.g., Korber, SAP, Infor, etc.).</li><li>Excellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).</li><li>A self-starter who can work independently to effectively manage assigned projects and deliver them on time, scope, and budget.</li><li>Excellent time management, organization, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Strong communication skills, both written and oral.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to effectively work with associates at all levels of the organization, including executive sponsors, managers, technical staff, and business team members.</li><li>Experience negotiating, influencing, and gaining buy-in from project stakeholders.</li><li>Ability to quickly troubleshoot and solve problems.</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Vizio</li><li>Proficient with project management tools, e.g.: JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet</li><li>Proficient with collaboration tools, e.g.: Zoom, Teams, Box</li><li>Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification</li><li>Experience with using and/or implementation of Warehouse Management and Warehouse Control Systems (WMS, WCS).</li><li>Strong understanding of integration methodologies, having experience with complex integration projects.</li></ul> About AriatAriat is an innovative, outdoor global brand with roots in equestrian performance. The hourly range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00 per hour. The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations. Ariat in good faith believes that this posted compensation range is accurate for this role at this location at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This contract position may be eligible for select benefits through the payrolling agency. Benefits may include medical, dental, and vision insurance options and 401k.
