- Type: Full Time / ExemptGeneral Position SummaryThe Equity & Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for designing, developing, coordinating, conducting, and managing special projects related to ODDS Blueprint and Compass Projects, DEIA implementation projects, Emergency Management projects and communication outreach and engagement.
- Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in behavioral science, social science, or a closely related field, OR an associate’s degree in a behavioral science, social science, or a closely related field and two years of human services related experience, OR high school diploma/GED and four years of human services related experience and at least four years of increasingly responsible employment in related field required.
- Identify, plan and execute no less than two community engagement trainings related to DEIA. Support the implementation of Blueprint and Compass Project objectives as directed by ODDS. Review Policies and Procedures to ensure DEIA and Person-Centered Practices.
- Engage in community outreach activities including but not limited to increase participation in Policy Oversight Group and Self Advocacy Groups.
- Develop Emergency Preparedness Plans and kits for each office location.
