- Tuvli, an Akima company, is hiring for an International Carbon Markets and Climate Mitigation Specialist to support our DoS client located in Washington, DC.
- Drafts interventions, speeches, and materials related to international climate negotiations, and related domestic actions, including as related to the role of carbon markets, carbon pricing, and emissions trading.
- Provides advice, guidance, talking points, analysis, and briefing papers to other negotiators and senior officials on issues related to international climate policy, including those related to carbon markets, carbon pricing, emissions trading, and mitigation.
- Provides technical input to the sustainable landscapes team on issues related to carbon markets, transaction and tracking registries, data management systems, verification requirements, emerging carbon market requirements and/or norms, etc.
- Supports development and implementation of U.S. government policy on international climate change and related issues, particularly with respect to sustainable landscapes, REDD+ and agriculture issues, nationally determined contributions, mid-century strategies, climate finance, and carbon markets.
