- Summary You will serve as a INTERDISCIPLINARY COMMUNITY PLANNER/NATURAL RESOURCES SPECIALIST in the ENVIRONMENTAL DEPARTMENT of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST. This is an interdisciplinary position and will be filled as a Community Planner (0020) or Natural Resource Specialist (0401).
- You will determine and track required biological and cultural resources surveys and air quality permits necessary for regulatory consultation to ensure on-time completions of (National Environmental Policy Act) NEPA projects.
- You will lead project meetings and assist in resolving conflict related to (National Environmental Policy Act) NEPA.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
