If you are looking for an opportunity to grow personally and professionally while delivering compassionate, quality care we encourage you to explore career opportunities with Haven of Dayton. </p><p><strong>We are seeking talented PRN Mental Health Intake Specialist to join our team!</strong></p><p>Position Summary:</p><ul type="disc"><li>Completes mental health screenings for inpatient psychiatric admission.</li><li>Receives and responds to call inquiries for potential admissions and generalized questions. </li><li>Obtains the required information to facilitate mental health admissions.</li><li>Makes referrals for persons who are not appropriate for admission.</li><li>Completes pre-authorization of services. </li><li>Welcomes patient(s) and completes paperwork upon arrival to mental health facility. </li></ul><p>Education:</p><ul type="disc"><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Bachelors Degree preferred</li></ul><p>Certifications/Licenses: </p><ul type="disc"><li>CPI/CPR per policy. Current licensure or certification, preferred, by discipline.</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul type="disc"><li>Mental health screenings and mental health experience preferred.</li><li>Experience with crisis management or intake preferred.</li></ul><p></p><p>Make a difference in the Miami Valley and surrounding communities.
