- Description:Is responsible for planning and layout, fabrication and assembly of instrumentation provisioning for flight test aircraft and development projects where no established procedures or method exists and work is accomplished from the verbal instructions and/or rough sketches of engineering.
- Is responsible for the functional check and calibration of direct reading aircraft instruments and electro-mechanical sensing devices used for the accumulation of development test data.
- Installs, operationally checks, calibrates and maintains direct reading instrumentation sensing devices of an electro-mechanical nature on aircraft undergoing flight test evaluation and performs the layout necessary to establish the locations for and accomplishes the assembly and installation to provide provisioning for new and changed engineering requirements.
- Experience with CNC machine work with ability to analyze and program own parts via CATIA software programs.
- Experience with Hand fabrication of raw sheet metal using basic machine shop measuring tools.
