- The Department of Integrated Studies inside Kansas State University's College of Technology & Aviation (COTA) invites applications for a 9-month non-tenure track Instructor or Assistant Teaching Professor of Technical Writing.
- We are interested in candidates who can demonstrate excellence in online course delivery (as some of the load may be delivered online) and who have specialties in or related to the following areas: digital rhetorics/storytelling, new media writing, science writing, grant writing, technical writing and industry, plain language protocols, coding and technical writing, technical writing and EDI, and/or technical writing and cultural/feminist rhetorics.
- This position affords the opportunity to work in the dynamic and quickly-growing College of Technology & Aviation on K-State's Aerospace & Technology Campus in sunny Salina, KS, where we enjoy all the seasons, amazing skies, an affordable cost of living, and supportive and committed colleagues and administrators.
- We seek teacher-scholars who are interested in interfacing through technical writing with students in an array of aviation, UAS, computer science, business, social work, engineering, machine-learning, and AR/VR disciplines.
