- This 10-month position oversees all programs in Aerospace Manufacturing Technology.
- Appointed by the Vice Chancellor for Education, Training, and Student Success, or the appropriate dean, the Program Chair is a teaching, full-time faculty member in the content area of at least one of the programs over which the Chair supervises.

- Must be able to share knowledge with students related to a combination of space vehicle systems: circuits, soldering, wire harnesses assembly and routing, layouts, fasteners, fluids, engineering drawing comprehension, 3D modeling software, Orbital Tube Welding, Friction Stir Welding, large machine shop tools, surface coatings, adhesives, composites, hoists, cranes, and mobile equipment.
- Provide immediate supervision and leadership for faculty, adjunct faculty, and staff.
