- Courses taught will likely include Painting courses taken by Art & Design students pursuing the following majors: Art BA, Art Education BFA, Graphic Design BFA, and Studio Art BFA as well as courses for non-majors that are included in the Fine Arts category in the Liberal Education program.
- Appointments are usually made on a semester by semester basis for fall and spring semester contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding.
- MFA in Studio Art or a related field OR a BFA plus professional achievement that provides a depth of knowledge in the field comparable to an MFA degree.
- Practicing artist in the area(s) to which the candidate is applying as evidenced by a current exhibition and/or research record.
