- The Instructional Designer actively collaborates and engages with faculty and subject matter experts to design and build online credit and non-credit courses/programs and instructional assessments and activities in microchip technologies, production, manufacturing, and industries policy.
- The ideal Instructional Designer must have a proven understanding of workforce development curriculum (broadly defined), corporate training and development programming, adult learning methodologies, rapid eLearning authoring tools, course design, development and support, and the ability to thrive within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- 5-8 years of instructional design and course building experience in a University setting.
- Attention to detail/excellent interpersonal/communication skills; Experience: content production; higher ed/academic setting; course design/instructional design/teaching; designing/delivering/evaluating professional development for faculty; creating/administering online training; quality improvement/assessment in blended/online teaching formats; delivering research-based, learner-centered course development support.
- Proficiency in: course development tools (Storyline, Captivate); use of Google Suite & PM software.
