- Our client, a global private markets investment manager, is actively seeking an attorney to join its Legal team in Chicago as Principal, Legal Counsel (Fund Formation).

- Target candidates for this exciting opportunity will have 5 or more years of large law firm and/or in-house fund formation experience and will be responsible for assisting with the coordination, structuring, formation and negotiation of private equity/credit investment funds and separate accounts (primarily closed-end funds, but also registered funds) targeting high net worth investors.
- Additional responsibilities will include fund formation and private offerings throughout the EU, regulatory filings related to fundraising efforts, coordination and documentation of partnership investment matters, private credit and direct investments, and assisting with management of corporate documentation, contracting and other general legal matters.
