- The Infrastructure Project Manager I is the professional intermediate level class in the series, working with considerable independence and discretion and may also be assigned to serve as an assistant project manager on large, complex construction or technical implementation projects, or solely manages limited-scope and duration projects with lower to mid-range budgets.
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Construction Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, Information Technology, Geology, Chemistry, Biology or related field.
- or A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Urban Planning, Public Administration, Business Administration or a related field
- However, all new full time employees hired into this classification on or after January 1, 2013 must be domiciled in Orleans Parish within 180 days of hire.
