- The successful candidate will also be proficient in drainage design and stormwater management with exposure to channel and habitat restoration design.
- Coordinate site development, zoning, building permits, public utility tap-in, roadway closures or detours, encroachments, crossings, railroad easements, water discharges.
- Obtain permits from MWRDGC, CDWM, CDOT, OUC, IDOT, ISTHA, Railroads, and local counties/municipalities.
- Coordinate studies or permitting of wetlands, flood protection areas, RTE species, cultural resources, other environmental areas, as regulated by USACE, NPDES, USFWS, IEPA, etc.
- Lead civil design reflecting fundamental concepts and techniques of H&H in analysis, design, and operation of water resource systems, urban planning, and storm drainage practices.
