- The Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) Division of Infectious Diseases seeks an M.D., M.D./Ph. D., or M.D./M.P.H. physician-scientist at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level.
- The Division s inpatient clinical activities include 2 adult General ID inpatient consult services and a dedicated Transplant ID consult service, all of which see inpatients at OHSU and the affiliated Portland Veteran s Administration Hospital, which is physically connected to the OHSU hospital via a skybridge.
- Outpatient clinical activity at OHSU includes a robust OPAT program, general and transplant
- Infectious disease-related research at OHSU is a highly collaborative effort that spans the entire University, including but not limited to the Division of Infectious Diseases, the Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology (MMI), the Vaccine and Gene Therapy Institute (VTGI), the School of Dentistry, and the School of Public Health.
- Select areas of existing strength include immunology, virology including HIV, herpesviruses, and vector-borne viruses, parasitology, fundamental host-pathogen interactions, TB and NTM, and Computational Biology/Informatics.
