- Job Description What you will do in this role : You will work closely with our DON to develop & implement the infection control program (ICP) in accordance with current IDPH regulations for our SNF environment.
- You will ensure compliance with current CDC, OSHA, and local regulations to provide staff education and training as needed.
- You will need to perform Infection (ICP) Surveillance; tracking & trending and developing action plans accordingly.
- Qualifications Infection Control & Prevention Nurse (ICP Nurse) (Registered Nurse RN or Licensed Practical Nurse LPN): officially we title this job an Infection Control & Prevention Nurse, but in other centers it may be called a Safety & Infectious Disease RN, Infection Control (ICP) Coordinator or an Infection Preventionist.
- What we need from you : Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed in IL The a-IPC EPI (101 and 102 for LTC), or CIC (Certification in Infection Prevention and Control) is ideal.
