Are you a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician ready to take on the challenge of maintaining a state-of-the-art automated material handling system in a fast-paced distribution center? We are looking for a dedicated professional who prioritizes safety, thrives on maximizing system performance, and excels in both electrical and mechanical tasks. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will: <ul><li>Approach all tasks and situations with a safety-first mindset, ensuring the well-being of yourself and your team.</li><li>Enhance system performance and minimize downtime through effective maintenance activities.</li><li>Engage in a wide range of electrical and mechanical tasks with minimal supervision.</li><li>Assist the production team with basic fault correction, coaching, and troubleshooting.</li><li>Aid in the installation of new components or the refurbishment of existing system components.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement activities through comprehensive system knowledge and site-specific enhancements.</li></ul> Ideal candidate profile Requirements: <ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree in industrial technology or related field, preferred.</li><li>Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience in a relevant electrical and/or mechanical role required, five (5) years plus preferred.</li><li>Strong skills in electrical (3-Phase, 480V, DC, and 24V controls) and mechanical systems.</li><li>Familiarity with electrics/mechanics in drive technology (motors/gears).</li><li>Knowledge of control technology (PLC/controls/inverters).</li><li>Understanding of wiring diagrams and electrical measuring techniques.</li><li>Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and proprietary system monitoring programs.</li><li>Experience maintaining material handling systems in a light industry or distribution center environment is strongly preferred.</li></ul> Physical Requirements: <ul><li>Continuous walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and standing.</li><li>Working at heights of up to 80-100 feet while wearing fall-arrest gear and other PPE.</li><li>Lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 50 lbs. unassisted.</li></ul> Why WITRON? <ul><li>Innovative Environment: Be at the forefront of technology with WITRON's advanced automated material handling system.</li><li>Continuous Growth: Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement with ample opportunities for career development and advancement.</li><li>Competitive Benefits: WITRON values employees and strive to create a supportive and rewarding work environment.
