- Role: Imagery Analyst - Multiple Positions Junior/Middle/Senior positions
- he Imagery Analyst role requires applying geospatial knowledge on how to acquire, analyze, compile, and disseminate raster-based information and intelligence to populate geospatial databases and create Geospatial Intelligence products.
- Imagery analysts typically work with both panchromatic and multi-spectral (MSI) Electro-Optical (EO) image sensors but may also work with a variety of other sensors such as Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Infra-Red (IR), Hyper-Spectral (HSI), or Light Detection And Ranging (LiDAR).
- The Imagery Analyst should be familiar with imagery concepts such as spatial and temporal resolution, data processing levels, projections and datums, and geodetic coordinate systems.
- The geospatial analyst is a flexible role that relies on understanding of basic geospatial concepts of projection, elevation, attribution, and works in conjunction with source materials to update and/or creating new geospatial feature data sets, maps and charts, submitting work through the QA/QC process along a wide variety of mission areas and geographic settings, while meeting deadlines in a high-tempo environment.
