- OverviewThe Human Resources and Benefits Manager oversees all transaction processing activities and recordkeeping functions in the Human Resources area to insure accurate and timely performance and compliance with all approved company policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
- This position also works closely with the Vice President Human Resources to develop and implement various human resources policies, programs, and services.
- Effectively use HR systems to obtain, store and analyze pertinent employee data and information.
- Assess people, processes, and technology to ensure optimum productivity and efficiency of the HR & benefits department.
- Maintain knowledge of State and Federal leave requirements to ensure company compliance with the provisions of FMLA, ADA, ADAAA, Employee Retirement Income Act (ERISA), COBRA, HIPAA, the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and the Department of Labor (DOL) and other regulations impacting employee benefits.
