- The Human Resources Advisor reports to a Senior Manager, HRBP in the U.S and works closely with the whole Business Partner team, contributing to their success in achieving business objectives by building and maintaining a capable workforce that will be committed to delivering Bank's strategies and promoting Scotiabank as an employer of choice.
- The HR Advisor will support with data; reporting and analytics focus will include, but is not limited to: communications, performance management, professional development, career advancement, promotions, employee engagement, total rewards, culture and diversity and inclusion.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
