A Laundry Attendant's responsibilities include cleaning, pressing and folding laundry as needed.. Complete projects as determined by the Executive Housekeeper. Compensation: $11 - $13/hr. Pax Properties are looking for an attentive Laundry Attendant to support the functions of our establishment and the needs of our customers at our Casa Bella Inn & Suites hotel in Tallahassee, FL. A Laundry Attendant's responsibilities include cleaning, pressing and folding laundry as needed. Ultimately, you will play a crucial role in the quality of our guests' experiences by ensuring that all textiles are attended to and maintained. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Provide quality services and meets guests needs</li><li>Sorts, washes, dries and folds all hotel linen in prescribed manner</li><li>Maintain linen quality based on hotel objectives</li><li>Monitor inventory of all chemicals and other supplies</li><li>Monitor mix of chemicals to ensure efficient use</li><li>Rotate linens to minimize wear</li><li>Clean and maintain laundry room</li><li>Follow standard procedures for securing guest lost and found items</li><li>Ensure master keys and found guestroom keys are property secured</li><li>Complete projects as determined by the Executive Housekeeper</li><li>Assist in cleaning of guestrooms and public areas as needed</li></ul> In order to do this job effectively, you should be able to: <ul><li>Carry out specific oral or written instructions, frequently following a simple routine</li><li>Do the same task over and over, frequently in the same way</li><li>Get along with all kinds of people</li><li>Stand and walk for long periods of time</li><li>Lift and carry things like linen and supplies</li></ul> While the job sounds simple, its importance can't be overstated.
