- Professional services company has a full-time opening for a Historic Preservation Specialist.
- Candidates must have experience with National Register documentation, survey and inventory projects, review and compliance documentation (National Environmental Policy Act and Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act), compliance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards, and preservation planning.
- Minimum of 5 years of historic preservation and 3 years of providing technical reviews of architectural documents (i.e. reviewing plans and specifications for the work proposed for historic buildings) is required.
- Supporting the development and delivery of training, technical assistance, oversight, expertise, and consultation to program officials, awardees, review panels, applicants, recipients, and subrecipients as needed regarding historic preservation activities;
- Supporting the review and evaluation of adequacy of historic preservation policies and procedures;
