- School/College: School of Medicine Job Description: The University of Alabama at Birmingham Heersink School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Disease is seeking academically oriented cardiologists to join the section of Advanced Heart Failure, Cardiac Transplantation, Mechanical Circulatory Support, and Pulmonary Vascular Disease.
- UAB is a nationally recognized leader with a distinguished legacy in cardiac transplantation, mechanical circulatory support, and pulmonary hypertension.
- In addition, physicians and other clinical faculty candidates who will be employed by the University of Alabama Health Services Foundation ( UAHSF ) or other UAB Medicine entities, must successfully complete a pre-employment drug and nicotine screen to be hired.
