- The Division of Behavioral Health: Chronic Disease is looking for a Health Program Specialist 1 in Carson City. This is a Health Program Specialist I position located in Carson City within the Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (CDPHP) Section in the Bureau of Child, Family, and Community Wellness.
- The purpose of the position is to oversee the Wellness Prevention Program including grants, subgrants, reports, evaluation of program activities, community collaborations, and fiscal management.
- This incumbent will also provide technical assistance to the community regarding wellness initiatives, food security activities, collaborate and coordinate with statewide partners, and communicate with federal funders/partners as needed.
