- As a Health Program Manager 2, your role will be to provide support to the Section of Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion's Tobacco Prevention and Control Program and Health Systems Collaboration Unit in conducting formative evaluations to inform tailored phone and digital-based services for Alaska Native people, such as quit line and diabetes management programs.
- You will collaborate with subject matter experts in tribal health and public health, stakeholders, and community members to manage an evidence-based program research and development process that ensures the inclusion of indigenous knowledge and expertise.
- As the manager for this project, your responsibilities will include drafting contractor work plans, and focus group scripts, and developing best practice guidelines and procedures for digital and phone-based health promotion services in Alaska.
- As the project liaison with tribal health professionals and the Section of Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, daily activities are to facilitate partner engagement, manage contracts and invoices, and ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
- The office is situated with views of the Chugach Range, Mt. Denali (sans clouds), and the Cook Inlet.
