- This job develops a research portfolio as an independent investigator; teaches biomedical or health informatics in graduate or undergraduate programs; provides informatics and analytics expertise in the preparation of research protocols, abstracts, presentations, manuscripts and grant applications; and provides advanced analytics for health system-level, data-driven, clinical initiatives.
- Required - PhD or master's degree in biomedical informatics, bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, or related field from an accredited school.
- Preferred - PhD in in biomedical informatics, bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, or related field from an accredited school or MD/DO.
- 5 years of relevant professional level experience with master's degree in biomedical informatics, bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, or related field from an accredited school.
- Solid understanding of medical informatics and electronic medical record systems and a very strong knowledge of molecular biology, bioinformatics, computational biology or systems biology.
