- The Head of School is responsible for the overall quality and operations of Italian Home for Children’s Pallotta Educational Center, a K-8 therapeutic day school for children with special education needs who are enrolled as day or residential education students.
- The Head of School forecasts and is accountable to financial performance, monitors standards of special education, and develops key partnerships.
- The Head of School will focus on the following areas: program leadership and management, setting high performance expectations and holding staff accountable, creating a balanced therapeutic and educational environment, staff retention, and growing the size of the school.
- Internally, s/he will provide inspiration, instill loyalty, pride, and passion for working at IHC, and recognize hard work and creativity.
- Externally, the Head of School is the “face” of the school and plays a key role in raising visibility, awareness, and influence about IHC through the cultivation of strategic relationships and taking opportunities to communicate both the school and the overall organization’s mission.
