ABOUT THE ROLE
Morrison Quarry: All duties are performed in a work-safe manner; plant safety rules are followed and individual works as a team member. Haul Truck Drivers are given primary responsibility of performing all plant tasks that require the use of heavy mobile equipment. The associated equipment of the limestone quarry and the plant equipment are also considered equipment to be operated through mobile operators.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Communicates with load and unload areas, hauls materials safely to designated areas and maintains safe speed and observes all plant traffic controls.
Performs walk-around pre-trip safety inspections. Identifies any safety problems or concerns and report any unsafe conditions to Supervisor including near misses and any other areas where safety can be improved.
Performs maintenance activities to ensure haul truck is maintained to the required standard and assist with other plant maintenance activities as required including site housekeeping or clean up activities.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Required: High School Diploma or GED preferred
Required: Prior experience operating haulage trucks or heavy equipment. 1-3 years experience
Required: Valid Drivers License

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
