- The Group EHS Manager will ensure that Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to in order to achieve/maintain a safe work environment and reduce/eliminate workplace incidents/injuries and compliance with local, state and federal environmental and safety regulations.
- Maintain and update the requirements of OSHA required plans (Lockout Tagout, Hot Work, Respiratory protection, Confined Space, Electrical Safety Standards, Hearing Conservation, Hazard Communication, etc.)
- Maintain an open and candid working relationship with all plant management, including regular attendance at plant management meetings.
- Participate and follow up on audits; Corporate EHS, property insurance, financial, and others as needed.
- The EHS Manager may supervise roles such as EHS Specialist, depending on the workforce size and/or complexity of the assigned location.
