- In this position you will work as a member of the Region Seven, Mitigation Division, Hazard Mitigation Assistance Branch Team. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience administering, monitoring, and closing out grants to include, direct experience with Hazard Mitigation Grant programs, Federal grants, management rules, Code of Federal Regulations, policies, practices and techniques.
- In this position, you will be working as a Grants Management Specialist within the Mitigation Division at Region Seven.
- Assisting in the review and evaluation of grant applications to determine awardee eligibility for Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) programs that include the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP), HMGP Post Fire, the Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) Program, the Legislative Pre-Disaster Mitigation (LPDM) Program, and the Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) Program.
- All positions are subject to recall around the clock for emergency management operations, which may require irregular work hours, work at locations other than the official duty station, and may include duties other than those specified in the employee's official position description.
