- HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCELeveraging the SKU reporting information developed by the Demand Planning department, develop specific views to assist merchandising in identifying category trends, classification opportunities, product flow potential.
- Develop tools that provide category, distribution or classification specific views to allow PLM’s to understand trends.
- Develop tools to assist with presentations—classification maps, color overviews, power point—as well as facilitate and organize events.
- 1-2 years’ experience managing a business segment i.e. market research, Buyer, Assistant Buyer, Planner, or product merchandising.
- Strong written and verbal communication skillsMust have ability to present a professional and informative product and trend assortment to those both inside and outside the organizationAn understanding of software and reporting tools to collect relevant dataProficient in MS Office; specifically, Excel, PowerPoint, AdobeFamiliarity with PDM, JDE, and other Columbia operating systems preferred.
