- You will perform analyses, provide input to geotechnical engineering reports, present results, and communicate issues with the project team.
- Major Responsibilities: Evaluates, selects, and applies standard geotechnical engineering methods preparing specifications for subsurface investigations for new and existing facilities.
- Performs geotechnical analyses such as stability of soil and rock slopes, rock excavation and slope protection, bearing capacity and settlement of shallow foundations, lateral earth pressures, and axial and lateral pile capacities.
- Prepares geotechnical engineering reports and presents the results of the investigations and reports to members of the project team.
